Energy consumption
One of the most effective ways of cutting CO2 is by reducing energy consumption (electricity consumption etc.). We are implementing measures to become energy-efficient.

Our businesses combine many products under their roofs. We are implementing measures to shift the focus onto low CO2 and certified products.

In addition to our guests, we also look after small living organisms and the biodiversity which is important to our ecosystem.

Mobility
Another effective way of getting closer to climate neutrality is by focusing on mobility. This is why the majority of our employees already use public transport and we reward our guests for travelling to the hotel in an environmentally-friendly way.

✓ GO GREEN package as an incentive for an environmentally-friendly journey to all hotels

Simply with conscious nutrition, every individual – and we as a group – can achieve a great deal to ensure our future.

The conscious use of our resources can have a big impact. Remember the three Rs:

Water is one of the most precious resources on our planet. We are implementing measures to reduce consumption.

Cleanliness and hygiene are important. Nevertheless, we are making sure that we look after our environment in the field of cleaning.

✓ Only changing towels when requested by guests by leaving them on the floor!

Heating and cooling
A pleasant atmosphere can also be created by heating and cooling. This is another area which can have a big impact and potential for cutting down.
✓ Use of district cooling where possible (within the limits of conversion measures)
✓ Regulating temperature settings in the rooms: No cooler than 23°C in the summer and no warmer than 20°C in the winter

We are continually undertaking further training to keep us well-educated and up-to-date with regard to current issues.

Certificates are our way of accessing environmentally-aware target groups. Moreover, it is much more important that we live our daily lives in accordance with the criteria at all times.
